MAUREEN I NEVER SAID I WOULDN'T BLOG! the hotels didn't have internet for me to use/steal from. sorry...gosh...why you gotta be like that.
and because of you im up at 12:50 in the morning after getting 10 hours of sleep since i went on that plane on vegas back home till the end of retreat. WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT?!?
Anyways...I will tell you everythingg that happened on the trip and too bad there is 1 girl incident so it cant be avoided, hahaha
kay it might be a bit long but please read,hahaha
kay saturday we left in like the afternoon or something and got to buffalo and i stayed in the hotel while my parents went out with my bro to shop at a sports store. then after we went to tgi fridays for dinner. AND i had like the hottest waitress ever! LOL (The one and only girl incident during the whole trip) You see i had to be normal and not do innapropriate actions such as flirting, hahaha because my parents were there :p oh well i hate a 16 ounce baby back rib. soooooooo goooooooooooood.
then we left sunday afternoon for vegas! long long long ride...but we finally arrived at like 8-9 something vegas time. i was soo tired already...cause 3 hrs behind toronto time...and it was SO HOT...went from like -10 to +25 celsius. Then once i got off the plane into the airport there are like slot machines EVERYWHERE. im like...any kid could just go up and gamble...
and we went to this hotel that was lit up in green lights called MGM Grande. once i walk through the front door, i see the casino with slot machines and tables everywhere with people gambling and smoking. the longer i stood there and waited for us to check in i was dying of second hand smoke, hahaha. the check in table..had like....20-30 counters for you to check into AT LEAST. DAMN this hotel is humongous when i first went in. it takes 30 minutes to get from my room to the 6.6 acre swimming pool! im like why the hell do you need such a huge swimming pool?!?! it was like an indoor shopping mall...the room was like a normal hotel room..but the bed...oh my goodness...was the comfiest bed i have ever slept on.
Monday comes along...we walked around the streets of vegas and looked at all the hotels reachable by walking distance. then we went to some chinese restaurant for lunch in china town. their chinese food SUCKS. dont eat chinese at vegas. lol KAY...um....then what else did i do...oh yeah we went to some hotel and watched a mardi gras show. and then we went to some place for dinner i forgot where...hmm...i think it was at the foodcourt somewhere...anyways...then we check into the hotel called the orleans. Then i really forgot what else we did...watch some show? most likely...then we went to the arcade room and played initial d. and my brother lost to the dad of amanda chow from NT, the amanda witht he twins ashley and alicia. he lost by 0.05 seconds..booo...then we went bowling!! it was 2 bucks per person =D then we had a coupon thingy and we got 1 game to play for free =D
Tuesday we had to leave the hotel at 7 am in the morning! >_<" but then the chow family woke up at 7, so we left at 7:30. then we didnt leave vegas till about 9:30 cause we got lost, hahaha stupid GPS. cant trust it all the time...then we went to grand canyon and walked for about 1-2 hours cause it waas a longgggggggggggggg 4 hour drive there. pretty scenery =D but we didnt have much timee...then i saw a wild goat on the road and a wild fox, just walked across the road infront of us ><" ah well...then we got back and ate chinese food again...ugh ugly stuff....then we went to the mirage and watched a volcano show! it was okay...oh btw all pics are on my facebook accnt, sorry if you don't have it =[
Wednesday comes...we didn't do much all morning, or anything at all...walked around a bit...hmm...i cant seem to remember what we did....but then at 1:30 we checked into the venetian hotel, oh my goodness that is probably the nicest and biggest hotel there. its like bigger than whatchama call it...fairview mall..and TALLER. Room is so niceee...then we went to their little swimmin pool, even that is SO nice><" THEN...we yeah thats about all we did i think..nvm...we went to fremont street or something like that and it had soo many pretty looking lights =] i also got a nosebleed, lol. it was a very bad nosebleed it kept going and going nonstop..sigh...then after that we went to watch another show at treasure island, and we watched umm...this pirate show, it was weird =/
Thursday...sighh last dayy! we went on the gondola ride inside the venetian hotel =] theres a RIVER inside the hotel! its like a mini shopping mall too. and then the person controlling the boat sang us some italian love song. then after we watched some other show...then after the show a person had to pretend to be a statue for like an hour or something, he was in all white and he never moved, i was like wow so painful, wonder how much he gets paid for doing that. then we went to another hotel and my bro and dad went to the hotel to see some ferarri car show. and i drank a 6 dollar white chocolate moca with my mom. then we went to the paris hotel and we ate at a buffet, SO expensive but the food was good =D And then we went to the belaggio hotel to watch a water fountain show, its soo pretty =] Then we had to goo....and leave vegas...i slept for 2 hrs on that plane to ny. the plane left at like 12 vegas time and we landed at 7:20 nyc time. ><" lost 3 hrs of sleep there...then there was a huge storm coming into nyc, a 8-10 inch snowstorm, and then we left for buffalo just intime before the flights were all cancelled *phew* or i wouldn't be able to go to retreat and stuck in ny for an entire day... yeah i slept on that ride all the way, then we went to the outlet malls in buffalo for an hour and went home, and then i went for retreat but i will write about that later =P enough for you to read here already
